How Much Should You Trust Reviews On Social Media?

Social media has been a great platform for advertising everything from products to services.  The advertising is low cost, demographically segmented and highly effective. Any person who is looking for a service, or a product can go to the internet and find a number of reviews and posts which would let them know whether the product they are looking for is worth their money or not

When it comes to a service like immigration or overseas education, when there is a lot of money at stake, it is of course, not surprising that most people would rely on the reviews that people give in order to choose the right consultancy. When it comes to immigration consultancies like Global Tree, reviews, for example are the major factor for clients before deciding whether or not to sign up with the consultancy.
But the question remains how true are the reviews and how much weight should be placed on them. When an aspirant to go abroad reads GLOBAL TREE REVIEWS or reviews of any other consultancy, he would subconsciously be basing his decision on them, and most often the reviews are reliable sources of information. You will get good nuggets of information such as the best consultant to work with, within the company, the best branch to approach as well as the area of strength for the consultancy by going through the reviews. Many aspects that may not be covered by direct advertising can sometimes be covered by the reviews. The fact remains however that the reviews, especially negative ones are not always without their own agenda. Sometimes when students or immigration aspirants are unable to achieve their dream on account of a visa rejection by the respective consulate, their disappointment at the result can cause them to respond in the form of a negative review. Which is really sad, as the granting of a visa is at the discretion of the consular officer. The immigration consultant may have put in a lot of work to make sure that the application went of without a hitch, but despite his best efforts, the visa may be rejected, the consultant now has to face the prospect of a negative review apart from the personal disappointment, for no fault of his.
It is therefore best to take reviews into account objectively and gain the required information from them before taking any decision
